OVERVIEW:

• Manage contract grower relationships while collaboratively engaging with  production, accounting, repair & maintenance and contract administration to maximize communication and efficiency.

• Serves as the lead staff specialist in safety for all farm locations.
• Develops and implements procedures within the organization that effectively control accident and health exposures in the workplace.

• Design, plan and implement a supervisory accident prevention training program which will ensure all supervisors are trained in prevention, reporting and investigation of accidents and injuries.
• Coordinate with the Medical Department to ensure all work related injured employee reach MMI.
• Coordinate monthly safety committee meetings to ensure that corrective action is performed on all deficiencies reported by committee members and the supervisors.
• Provide a review of all safety related topics for the company’s new hire orientation, to ensure new employees are introduced to our goals of a safe working environment.
• Daily interaction with live operations employees to incorporate the needs of business and compliance while maintaining effective working relationship.
