<h3>Duties will include:</h3>

<li>Will monitor site procurement, layout &amp; permitting and tract construction process when applicable.</li>
<li>Will monitor key competitor activities in the territory and report to corporate on a regular basis</li>
<li>Will serve as the liaison between the contract growers and corporate regarding issues not addressed by the Service Managers.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>To be considered for this role:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>A BS or BA degree with an agriculture-based major is preferred along with five-plus years of progressive and varied business management, sales, finance, agronomy and/or marketing</li>
<li>Thorough understanding of financial processes, construction project budgeting, and ability to interact effectively with land-owner and producer customers.</li>
<li>Experience will be with an Agri-Based business/company dealing with Swine, Poultry, Dairy, Beef or other live production environment
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of swine production technologies, training experience, and marketing of swine production contracts and finishing business models is preferred</li>
<li>Knowledge of swine industry history, regional competitors and swine industry outlook preferred</li>

<li>Conduct a minimum of four farm safety visits/audits on a weekly basis and make suggestions to correct deficiencies within live production to stay in compliance with federal regulations. Provides follow-up to reconcile identified deficiencies.</li>
<li>Plan, implement and coordinate an accident prevention program to enhance our operational efficiencies.</li>
<li>Design, plan and implement a supervisory accident prevention training program which will ensure all supervisors are trained in prevention, reporting and investigation of accidents and injuries.</li>
<li>Coordinate with the Medical Department to ensure all work related injured employee reach MMI.</li>
<li>Coordinate monthly safety committee meetings to ensure that corrective action is performed on all deficiencies reported by committee members and the supervisors.</li>
<li>Provide a review of all safety related topics for the company’s new hire orientation, to ensure new employees are introduced to our goals of a safe working environment.</li>
<li>Daily interaction with live operations employees to incorporate the needs of business and compliance while maintaining effective working relationship.</li>
<li>Prepare any reports regarding live production safety as necessary.</li>

<li>B.S. degree in a Safety relate field of study with four or more years’ experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience</li>

This growing company is continuing to develop its&#8217; swine business and needs promotable leaders.<strong>Overview</strong><br />
To be successful in this role you must have strong leadership skills, animal husbandry expertise, be thorough in your work and be able to hold people accountable while inspiring them to do quality work.</p>
<p>Immediate responsibilities include managing the gestation department for a successful sow unit, from there you rotate through other barns in the region, developing your skills and working as a relief manager. As advancement opportunities arise, you will be promoted to run your own operation of 2400-sow commercial unit with a staff of 8.  The target date for promotion to Farm Manager is 6-12 months.</p>
<p><strong>To be considered for this job</strong><br />
We&#8217;re looking for a highly motivated and caring person with a degree in Animal Science and<span style="text-decoration: underline;">3 years leadership experience in a large-scale total confinement swine operation.</span> Concentrated experience with breeding and gestation is a plus. Strong math, communication, and leadership skills are needed to be successful. Since this is a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, we need someone who is adaptable and a team-player. Being good with detail and follow-through are necessary.</p>

<p><strong>BE ADVISED: This position is located in a very rural part of South Western Kansas</strong></p>
<p><strong>To be considered for this Role:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>You must have a BS degree in an AG related field and a minimum of 2 years experience working in a grain/feed operation with very strong knowledge of the local &amp; global commodities markets relative to grain and feed ingredients along with strong logistics (truck &amp; rail) experience.</li>
<li>You must have experience purchasing commodities/ingredient from a variety of sources, understanding, maintaining and managing future positions and coordinating inbound/outbound logistics (truck &amp; rail)</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Merchandising: </strong> Your commodities experience &amp; knowledge will allow you to effectively purchase all feed ingredients for all the companies feed mills, negotiating rail rates &amp; coordinating truck &amp; rail logistics. You will also manage futures position, monitor quarterly reports, maintain contact with grain producers &amp; ingredient sales people and manage overall cash feed grain &amp; soybean meal positions.</p>
<p><strong>Business:</strong> You will also be responsible for selling rendered products, entering sales contract into the system, monitory grain accounting activities and assist with purchasing feedstock and coordinating logistics for the High Plains Bio-Diesel facility.</p>
